A Poem

Sometimes we fall and the cold hard ground feels like the best place to stay
Away from the stares and the accountability we do what we crave
When we make decisions that impact our lives and the trajectory of where we’re going, sometimes the weight of that is too much to bear, to the point where you want to tear
Your clothes, your old beliefs and things you once knew. They come back and haunt you, bringing reminders of the old you.
But don’t despair, because there is Someone who cares. Someone who will right your wrongs, and take you on a different path where His plan and your destiny collide. A path that pulls you to the side, away from the crowd. Away from the norm. It’s a little different and gives you new form. While you thought that decision derailed you, His plan was to get you to see just who you really ought to be. The girl that believes for the impossible. The woman who takes control of the season. Who masterfully listens to the Father as He leads you to victory.
Yes, that decision may have seemed like a mistake. But it was meant to elevate and take you to a higher place. A higher level of thinking, reasoning discerning and being. It was meant to make you soar. Yes daughter, it was meant to take you places you’ve never seen nor heard before. You thought it would take you back, but it was meant to take you forward, to where you really belong. At the forefront of destiny, where His plans unfold taking you from mediocre folklore. Average at best is what you thought you deserve, but He knew with trials and falling greatness was on reserve. Waiting for you to arrive with your head held high, walking in valor, serving in purpose.
So drop the weight of that decision on your Father’s lap. Let Him know what you did but no longer look back. move forward and let Him work it out for your good, your future is waiting, understood?
